About
Artist
He is a self taught artist, according
to him; his artistic talents inherited
from his mother's family. He was inspired by many great artists from the
close
family circle.
Joseph
started drawing the live caricatures since he was 13 years old.
When he was a student in the university, Joseph won the first prize in
cartooning in 1987.
In 1992 his first editorial cartoon was published in the local
political newspaper. Then a few
of political cartoons published in newspapers and magazines for the next few
more years.
Since
1997 he was in Singapore, in 1999 he won the first prize in a
logo
design contest, that conducted by STMicroelectronics Pte.
Ltd. He learned the basics
of oil painting through the books and experiments during this time.
His
passion for creation started at very young age and has stood the test of
his
time because his passion is not only
everlasting, but he needs to create. With out
this creative process in his life, he is empty and will cease to exist spiritually
and with out a
solid meaning.
What ever you may think of his style of work he values and respect every
opinion,
but truly hope when you leave this site you gain something from
viewing his art work.
1n
2010 two of his caricatures got selection to the Romanian Cartoon Museum.
In Jan 2011 His First Short Film "LITTLE PASSENGER" became
the finalist
of the International Short film Festival in Paris.
He is a member of Kerala Cartoon Academy. He has created and directing
"Kerala Cartoonists"
Group in the facebook.
Presently
he is living in Canada with his
loving wife Shiji and two children Isabella
and Jacob
